City Notifies Public about Unlicensed Contractor

On January 30, 2014, the City of Rapid City revoked the contractor’s license of Hail Strike Restoration. It has since come to the attention of the City’s Building Services Division that Hail Strike may have performed roofing construction within the City after its contractor’s license was revoked. Due to Hail Strike’s unlicensed status, the company is unable to obtain permits to do construction work in the City. It is a violation of City ordinance for a contractor to perform roofing work within the City without a contractor’s license and a building permit. There may be homeowners in the City who contracted for work by Hail Strike when the company was unlicensed.
