Community Outreach and Charitable ActivitiesHome Builders Care encompasses the philosophy of community outreach activities conducted by builders and home builder associations across the nation. Each year, the home building industry contributes millions of dollars in cash, building materials, supplies, and countless volunteer hours to community charities through local community service projects. Some of the more recent projects done by BHHBA are:
Jan Buckley Care Project On Saturday, October 1st, Jeff, Al, and Wyatt Weidenbach of Weidenbach Bros., along with Terry Jensen from Pro-Build built a deck for Jan Buckley of Rapid City. Pro-Build donated all materials while Birdsall Sand & Gravel donated the concrete. This HomeBuilders Care project was made possible because of the donated materials and labor. Jan’s husband passed away and she is battling cancer.
